Marni brights

Surfing on net-a-porter on a Monday, I came across this bright little surprise that was practically yelling 'buy me!', 'I'm perfect for spring'. This Marni necklace fit right into the 'things I never knew I wanted until I wanted it' category!
The moment I clasped eyes on this though, I definitely realised I had to have it. There's something about the colours that string together perfectly, adding that much needed jazz to an outfit without excessive styling. I think its just right the way its worn here, with a simple white top. Needless to say, it'll be a great accessory for making the day at work to drinks with the girls transition. And so it dived into my cart...

Double shot soy lattes are my weekday pick-me-ups. The cure for all 'my mind is going blank' moments! That and admiring these pictures of impeccably tousled hair while contemplating an edgier change for my own waist long mane. [Frankly, the elfin crop while pretty scares me!]

All work and no play...

Hi folks, this weekend is all about work and not a minute to spare! Lazy weekend brunch would have to be skipped and so would a turn round the shops. No time for the movies and no multiple hits of the snooze button. No time for experimenting in the kitchen or usual weekend trips to the market for fresh flowers. No time for steaming coffee and long, soulful conversation with loved ones.... I'm leaving those cherished things to you for now!
