I can only imagine how this show must have looked like on the runway, the unravelling ribbons built for movement and drama. Elements of a Tuxedo paired with feminine sheer tops and furry pom pom topped sandals merged timelessness with the quirky. Another component seems to bring to life the caterpillar's journey from bug to butterfly! There's even a coat that looks like a comfortable quilt made into something a modern day chinese emperor might want to claim as his imperial robe. Tough leather jackets and plush sweaters form the staple that everyone always wants and those delicate silver and white strappy heels have already stolen a piece of my heart!

It may be still be early for Valentine's day but the sharp eyed would notice that it's already way past time for this decadent post! I picked up this little jewel box filled with gorgeous macarons around Christmas time, braving the jostling crowds and accompanying over-sized shopping bags in Selfridges' famed food hall. It was worth it though, the perfect red box and the faint wording that marked the last, beautiful year of the decade.
If you're wondering why I only took pictures at sharp angles, well it won't be a surprise to know that its because I've already gobbled up half the contents of the long rectangular box!
So if Chocolate is not your aphrodisiac of choice this Valentine's, a trip down to Pierre Hermé just might be the answer!
PS: a shout out to my baby cousin who will be going for her wedding gown fitting this week, I can't believe you're getting hitched already! Love you.
